It has significantly facilitated the distribution of books throughout the provinces.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, a donation of over 25,000 children&#8217;s books from Second Story Press was entrusted to the Foundation, which shipped them to the Cambodian Ministry of Education in Phnom Penh for distribution to several schools across the country.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aac9bf3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"aac9bf3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Scholarship Program in Vietnam<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-613c187 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"613c187\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Thanks to the invaluable collaboration of Professor Emeritus Truong Vo-Van of Concordia University in Montreal and the University of Moncton in New Brunswick, the Fondation de la Cheneli\u00e8re maintains close ties with Tra Vinh University in Vietnam. This public university is located in the city of Tra Vinh, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Founded in 2006, it has grown rapidly, offering a multidisciplinary program and playing a key role in regional socio-economic development.<\/p>\n<p>The university offers bachelor&#8217;s, master&#8217;s, and doctoral programs in numerous fields, including education, agriculture, engineering, environmental science, economics, health, and social sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2012, the Fondation de la Cheneli\u00e8re, with support from several donors, has awarded scholarships annually to approximately forty students at Tra Vinh University.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, over one hundred applications are submitted to the Fondation de la Cheneli\u00e8re and each one is carefully reviewed and evaluated.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, 34 scholarships were awarded across various disciplines. All the students come from low-income families and demonstrate good or very good academic performance. We gave particular priority to two students with disabilities and several students from ethnic minorities.<\/p>\n<p>Several current and former scholarship recipients have attested to the importance of these scholarships in their academic journeys.
